Since 1986 Okka Wikka has been supporting holiday programs for Youth at Risk in FNQ

School Galleries:

Throughout 2007 & 2008 Okka Wikka taught in over 60 schools These records demonstrate the style and curriculum of each workshop

Here we have a humble but significant visual arts representation of  enduring  archetypal structure including Australian Museum directories

These crafts  hold a kinaesthetic/visual/doing memory that belongs to our vast human collective memory

Often the 'doing activity' is of a primary pattern that we call archetypal

Our work has demonstrated the power of these crafts: the hands-on doing actions that can change and nourish our human behaviour
